Cabinet Meeting: Creole Language in HSC, Implementation Details Announced

The Cabinet has approved the implementation details for introducing Kreol Morisien (KM) as a main subject in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) starting from the academic year 2026.

The eligibility criteria apply to students who have obtained the Cambridge School Certificate or the Cambridge General Certificate of Education. For the Cambridge School Certificate, students must have achieved at least a 'pass' in English as well as a minimum of three Credits.
