Public Service: The 'Sunday Allowance' Reinstated with a New Formula, Estimated Impact of Rs 1 Billion per Year

On Friday, January 30, the Council of Ministers approved the reinstatement of the Sunday Allowance for employees working on shifts or rosters, at a revised rate equivalent to one day's salary in addition to the normal pay.
