A light breeze is blowing through our region. The weather will generally be nice this morning, according to a statement from the Vacoas meteorological station issued at 4:30 AM this Monday. Cloud developments are expected in the afternoon over the southern part of the island and the central plateau, with localized showers.
The maximum temperature will range from 26 °C to 28 °C on the central plateau and from 30 °C to 33 °C in coastal areas.
The wind will blow from the northeast at about 15 km/h during the day and will strengthen slightly during the night.
The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest reaching approximately 2 meters.
In case of thunderstorms, the public is advised to stay sheltered, avoid low-lying areas and sea outings, and not to seek shelter under trees.

Fytia intensified into a strong tropical storm overnight. At 4:00 AM, it was centered at approximately 21.0 degrees south latitude and 51.7 degrees east longitude, moving southeast at about 18 km/h.
