Plaine-des-Roches: Two Injured After Gas Cylinder Explosion

A fire caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder broke out on Tuesday evening around 9:45 PM on Royal Road in Plaine-des-Roches. Two residents of the house, a 63-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, were injured and transported to Sir Anerood Jugnauth Hospital, where they were treated and later discharged.

The explosion resulted in significant material damage, including to a neighboring house. The fire was brought under control by volunteer firefighters.
