Gas Cylinder Explosion: Two Injured and Significant Property Damage
A severe fire caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder shook the Plaine-des-Roches neighborhood on Tuesday around 9:45 PM. The blast injured a 63-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man. They were treated at Sir Anerood Jugnauth Hospital in Flacq and were able to return home after receiving the necessary care.
Both the house and an adjacent property suffered significant damage. Before the firefighters arrived, volunteers mobilized to control the flames.
