At the Souillac Hospital: Death of a Patient Suspected of Having MERS Virus
A patient passed away this morning in the isolation unit of the Souillac hospital. He was a resident from the North, admitted to the Rose-Belle hospital on Monday before being transferred.
According to our sources, he is suspected of having contracted the MERS virus after traveling to Saudi Arabia. The patient also had pre-existing heart problems.
An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon, and further tests will be conducted to confirm whether it is indeed the MERS virus.
