Belle-Rose: A Hooded Passenger Stabs a CNT Conductor

A CNT conductor was attacked on Wednesday, February 4, in Belle-Rose by a passenger. The suspect, who was hooded, refused to pay for his ticket. When the conductor asked him to exit the bus, he assaulted him with a knife to the face.

The bus driver immediately intervened and subdued the attacker before handing him over to the police. The suspect, a 21-year-old resident of Bambous, has been placed in a police cell.

The conductor, injured in the face, received two stitches.
