Arrival of the President of Seychelles: Military Honors and Diplomatic Buzz

Uniformed officers, police musicians, security forces, and political leaders stood at attention yesterday at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport to welcome the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Patrick Herminie, who is on a state visit to Mauritius until March 14. Shortly after noon, the Air Seychelles plane landed. The Seychellois president and First Lady Véronique Herminie descended the steps of the aircraft with ceremonial dignity.
