This information comes from the "Weather Outlook" issued by the Vacoas meteorological station at 11:30 AM on Sunday, March 15, for Mauritius, Rodrigues, Agalega, and St-Brandon.

"As of 10 AM on Sunday, March 15, it was located approximately 775 km northwest of Rodrigues and is moving towards the south-southeast at about 15 km/h," according to the meteorological service.

In Rodrigues, active clouds associated with the system are causing sometimes heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms, which may persist until Monday.

In St-Brandon, moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms are expected today and tomorrow.

In Agalega, although the system is moving away, occasional showers remain possible.

In Mauritius, the weather will be rather cloudy with scattered showers, occasionally moderate. Rain is expected to become more frequent starting tomorrow and could temporarily become heavy next Tuesday. The sea will become rough offshore with swells.
