A heavy rain warning has been issued for Mauritius at 4:15 AM on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and will remain in effect until 8:00 PM.
According to the meteorological station, atmospheric conditions are unstable in our region. Moderate to heavy localized showers, accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected to begin this afternoon in the western half of the island and on the central plateau. These showers are anticipated to spread to other regions by evening.
Water accumulation is likely in flood-prone areas, especially in the west. Visibility will also be reduced due to fog and rain.
