War in the Middle East and Its Impact on the Global Economy: The Government Establishes a Crisis Unit

A crisis unit will be established to analyze the economic and social impacts of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Chaired by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, it will include several key ministers (Environment, Agro-industry, Social Security, Energy, Labor, Land Transport, Trade, Higher Education, Industry, Education, and Public Service). This structure aims to ensure comprehensive monitoring of the potential effects of the international crisis on the Mauritian economy and social conditions.
