Council of Ministers: Government on Alert Due to the Effects of the Middle East Conflict

The Cabinet has approved the establishment of a Crisis Committee, chaired by the Prime Minister, tasked with studying the economic and social repercussions of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The committee will include the ministers of Environment, Solid Waste Management, and Climate Change, Rajesh Bhagwan; Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy, and Fisheries, Arvin Boolell; and Social Security, Ashok Subron; among others.
