The national television will broadcast live only 34 matches of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, starting on June 11. This includes the opening ceremony and the final scheduled for July 19. These details were shared by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam on Tuesday, April 7, during the PMQT session in Parliament.

Additionally, the public will have the opportunity to watch all 104 matches of this World Cup live on the MBC Play app for a one-time fee of Rs 300. This app can be installed on Smart TVs.
