An anticyclone in the southwest of the Mascarenes is bringing moderate trade winds to our region. The weather will be partly cloudy early this morning, with light showers in the highlands, then clear throughout the day, according to the weather bulletin from the Vacoas station issued this Friday, April 10. The sky will clear up during the night.

Winds will blow from the southeast at about 20 km/h, with gusts reaching 50 km/h. The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest measuring around 2.5 meters.

Outings at sea, as well as in the lagoons of the west and south, are not recommended.

However, sea conditions in the lagoons of the west and south will gradually improve during the night.

Maximum temperatures will range between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius in elevated areas and between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius along the coastal regions.

Minimum temperatures will vary between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius on the coastline.
