Politics: Shakeel Mohamed Acting Prime Minister

In the absence of Navin Ramgoolam from the country, Shakeel Mohamed, the third in command of the government, will assume the role of Acting Prime Minister starting tonight, Wednesday, April 14, for a duration of five days.

Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam is leaving this evening for the Republic of Congo, where he will attend tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony for Denis Sassou N’Guesso on the occasion of his presidential inauguration.
