Fatal Attack on Jaisen Sooreea in St-Félix: 'Now the beach has become dangerous', says a relative
Tragic ending for Jaisen Sooreea, aged 22. This resident of Surinam was attacked with a knife yesterday while at the public beach of St-Félix. Seriously injured, he was admitted to the intensive care unit at Rose-Belle Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Wednesday. The autopsy, conducted by Dr. Maxwell Monvoisin and Dr. Seewooruthun, determined that the cause of death was a fatal stab wound to the chest.
According to gathered information, a man attacked the young man along with three others with a knife before fleeing the scene. One of the injured individuals reported the incident to the police. The suspect, a 37-year-old resident of Rose-Belle, has been arrested in connection with this case. The motive behind this fatal attack is still unknown.
A relative of Jaisen Sooreea expresses his anger: 'Now the beach has become dangerous. A mother has lost her child. We need to find a way to ensure the safety of children who go to the beach.
