Leptospirosis: A New Case Reported in Mauritius
A new case of leptospirosis has been reported in Mauritius. The patient, a resident of Flacq, has been hospitalized and is in stable condition.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been 14 cases and three deaths related to leptospirosis in the country.
The acting director of health services, Dr. Fazil Khodabocus, is urging the public to remain vigilant.
