Leptospirosis: A New Case Reported in Mauritius

A new case of leptospirosis has been reported in Mauritius. The patient, a resident of Flacq, has been hospitalized and is in stable condition.

Since the beginning of the year, 14 cases and three deaths related to leptospirosis have been recorded in the country.

The interim director of health services, Dr. Fazil Khodabocus, is urging the public to remain vigilant.
