Indoor Cannabis Cultivation: Rs 1.1 Million Seized

An indoor cannabis cultivation operation was dismantled by the Port-Louis Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU), led by Sergeant Mohun, on Friday in Ti-Rodrigues, Cité La Cure, Port-Louis. Approximately a hundred cannabis plants were seized from a space specially designed and equipped for indoor cultivation. A quantity of harvested cannabis, intended for sale, was also discovered. The seizure took place at the residence of Joseph Steven Allas, known as "Tieddy," a 38-year-old mason. He is suspected of being involved in cannabis cultivation and trafficking and has been arrested by the ADSU.
