Constituency Number 1: Over 50 Members of the MMM Resign

A new wave of resignations within the Mauritian Militant Movement. 54 members from Constituency Number 1 (GRNO/Port-Louis-West) have submitted their resignations from all levels of the Mauve party through a letter addressed to the Secretary General, Rajesh Bhagwan.

In this letter, the resigning members explain that they are withdrawing from the party and all MMM bodies effective immediately. "We are doing this with dignity," wrote the resigners. It is worth noting that Paul Bérenger has called on everyone who wants to "continue or deepen the militant struggle" to join his new political movement.
