Noise Pollution and Car Meet: Police Crackdown Operation in Trianon

A driver was arrested on Saturday night during a "Crackdown" operation conducted in the parking lot of Tribeca Mall. The police had received information about a "car meet," a gathering where several motorists display their vehicles, often accompanied by loud music.

The suspect underwent a test and tested positive for drugs. He was also apprehended for possession of an offensive weapon.

The suspect has been placed in police custody as part of the ongoing investigation.

In total, 46 motorists were checked during this operation, carried out jointly by the Road Safety Unit, the ERS, the SMF, the DSU, and the Environmental Police. Nine drivers were fined for various traffic violations.

The police also cautioned against illegal gatherings of motorists.
