Erosion at Tamarin: The Beach Collapses in Just a Few Days

The beach at Tamarin is visibly shrinking. In just a few days, due to a combination of strong swells and unauthorized human intervention, nearly 30 meters of beach width has vanished over a stretch of 150 meters. Yesterday, the Minister of Environment, Rajesh Bhagwan, visited the site to supervise emergency work that has been underway since April 30.
