Abercrombie: A Police Officer Helps a Woman Give Birth in a Police Vehicle
A police officer from the Abercrombie police station assisted a woman in giving birth inside a police vehicle on Tuesday, May 5th.
The expectant mother was on a bus when her water broke, while the vehicle was traveling near the police station. Bystanders rushed to the station to seek help. Officers, including a policewoman, immediately responded to the scene.
The woman was then placed in a police vehicle. While en route to the hospital and in contact with a doctor via phone, the policewoman managed to assist with the delivery.
Both the mother and her baby were subsequently taken to the hospital and are in good health.
