A pregnant woman gave birth on Tuesday morning, May 5, in a police vehicle in Abercrombie, Sainte-Croix, after experiencing sudden contractions while aboard a bus.
According to available information, the expectant mother’s water broke near a bus stop located close to the police station. Passengers quickly alerted the authorities. A team of policemen arrived on the scene to assist her.
Faced with the urgency of the situation, the officers provided immediate support and managed to safely deliver the baby before transporting both mother and child to the hospital for further care.
