Beach Clean-up at Belle-Mare: A Collective Effort for Ocean Health

The Mauritius Ocean Week 2026, which began on May 4th, features various activities focused on ocean conservation and sustainability. On May 7th, the fourth day of the event, a significant clean-up operation took place on Belle-Mare beach, with the participation of several representatives from the Ministry of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy, and Fisheries.

Prominent figures such as Minister Arvin Boolell and junior ministers were present to support this initiative.
