Mauritius Ocean Week 2026 took place from May 4 to 9, focusing on the theme "The Bridge to the Blue Future: Uniting Stakeholders for a Sustainable Ocean Economy." Organized by the Ministry of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries, the event brought together scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, communities, and youth to collaboratively develop actionable and inclusive strategies for a resilient ocean economy.
