Poste-La-Fayette: Seizure of Rs 2.7 Million in Hashish, Arrest of a Seventy-Year-Old

A significant drug seizure took place on Tuesday afternoon, May 19, in Poste-La-Fayette during an operation conducted by the Flacq police. The intervention led to the arrest of a 73-year-old resident of the area.

During a search of his home, police discovered 367.5 grams of hashish, with a market value estimated at Rs 2,764,250. An electronic pocket scale and two cannabis plants grown in plastic pots were also seized. The suspect has been arrested and is currently held at the Flacq police station.
