Fatal Accidents: Slight Increase in 2025

The latest road statistics, updated as of November 28, 2025, indicate a nearly stable but still concerning situation regarding fatal accidents in Mauritius. According to the compiled data, there have been 103 fatal accidents recorded since the beginning of the year, compared to 102 during the same period in 2024. This slight increase of 1% is also reflected in the number of victims. A total of 111 people have lost their lives on the roads in 2025, one more than the previous year.
