35,926 New Vehicles on Our Roads

35,926 new vehicles have been registered in Mauritius between January and November 2025, marking an 8.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. However, this growth masks a shift in trend. After hitting a peak in June, just before new budget measures were implemented, registrations have begun to decline, falling below 2,500 units per month since August.

Currently, there are 745,000 vehicles on the roads of Mauritius this year. The slowdown observed after the Budget continues.
