Crystal Palace Signs Brennan Johnson
Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the transfer of Brennan Johnson. An agreement had been reached between the clubs for an amount close to 40 million euros for the 24-year-old Welsh international. Johnson, who was also targeted by Bournemouth as a replacement for Antoine Semenyo, who is set to move to Manchester City, ultimately chose to join Crystal Palace.
"Crystal Palace has finalized the transfer of Welsh international Brennan Johnson from Tottenham Hotspur as part of a record deal for the club. The 24-year-old Welsh international has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and will wear the number 11 shirt for the Eagles. Johnson is set to make his debut for Palace on Sunday afternoon against Newcastle United at St. James' Park," the Eagles stated in their announcement.
