Cloudy Weather with Occasional Showers
Clouds associated with an instability line coming from the East will influence local weather throughout the day. The weather will be partly cloudy to overcast early this morning, with occasional showers in the East and on the heights. It will become cloudy later on with passing showers mainly over the southern half, the East, and the central plateau. These showers may become moderate at times. The sky will temporarily clear in the late afternoon and evening.
Additional clouds coming from the East will bring showers during the night, especially in the East, South, and on the central plateau. These showers may also be temporarily moderate. Pockets of fog are expected in certain areas.
The wind will blow from the east-southeast at about 20 km/h, with gusts up to 50 km/h. The sea will be rough beyond the reefs with swells from the southwest around 2.5 meters. Offshore outings as well as in the lagoons of the West and South are not recommended.
The maximum temperature will range between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius in coastal areas. The minimum temperature will be between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius in the heights and between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius on the coast.

At 4 AM, the intense tropical cyclone Dudzai was centered at approximately 17 degrees South latitude and 78 degrees East longitude, about 2170 km northeast of Mauritius. It is moving south-southeast at around 5 km/h and will not influence local weather at least for the next three days.
