A Declining World...

...or the slow erosion of our references. There are times when one can feel that something is coming apart. The threads that connected individuals, families, and nations are breaking one by one, in a silent crash that only those who experienced the 'before' can perceive. I am part of the Generation X, raised in an imperfect world, certainly, but one with clear references: respect for elders, the strength of friendship, the solidity of the family core.
