Madagascar: Andry Rajoelina Announces the Dissolution of the National Assembly

Andry Rajoelina has announced, via presidential decree, the dissolution of the National Assembly of the Republic of Madagascar. This decision took effect immediately upon its official publication on Tuesday, October 14.

Decree No. 2025-1051, signed by the head of state and issued in accordance with Article 60 of the Malagasy Constitution, officially ends the term of the National Assembly. This measure follows prior consultation with the Prime Minister.
