Murder of Natasha Vidushi Cornet: Her Husband Arrested

The lifeless body of Natasha Vidushi Cornet, a 35-year-old woman, was discovered on Sunday evening, October 26, in an abandoned lot near a river in Morcellement Sainte-André, Plaine-des-Papayes.

At this stage of the investigation, foul play is strongly suspected. The main suspect, Aumanand Singh Cornet, 37, who is the victim's estranged husband, was actively sought by the police.

He was eventually arrested on Monday, October 27, by investigators from the CID of Pamplemousses while he was heading to the Northern Hospital. This repeat offender has been admitted to the hospital under police supervision.
