Junaid Fakim Taken to Victoria Hospital for Medical Exams
    
        Junaid Haroon Fakim, former commissioner of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC), was taken to Victoria Hospital in Candos on Thursday afternoon, October 30.
During his appearance before the Rose-Hill District Court, the FCC rejected his bail application, which will be discussed on November 3.
The magistrate subsequently ordered his transfer to Victoria Hospital for medical examinations. He will be examined by state doctors, along with his private physician, as per a motion presented in court.
A cardiologist was heard during the hearing and explained that Junaid Fakim suffers from health issues.
The former FCC commissioner was arrested earlier that day by the Financial Crimes Commission while being questioned at the Réduit Triangle premises in connection with the Ravatomanga case. He was interrogated regarding the influence peddling aspect of the investigation.
