Toxic Loans Case: Sanjiv Ramdanee to Spend the Night in Custody After Arrest by the FCC

Sanjiv Ramdanee will spend the night at Moka detention center. He was arrested by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) on Tuesday afternoon, December 2. The FCC has accused him of conspiracy in connection with the Toxic Loans case related to the company Dhyanavartam Ltd.

According to the FCC's investigation, bank loans classified as "toxic loans" totaling Rs 470 million were allegedly granted to Maradiva Villas and Resorts & Spa.

The brother-in-law of former Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth will appear in court on Wednesday facing a provisional charge of conspiracy.
