Night Market: Joe Lesjongard's PNQ on Permits and Safety

The Leader of the Opposition, Joe Lesjongard, has submitted a Private Notice Question (PNQ) to the Minister of Local Government, Ranjiv Woochit, regarding the establishment of night markets for the festive season of 2025. He is seeking clarification on the criteria and procedures governing the issuance, withdrawal, or denial of permits granted to street vendors.

The inquiry also addresses the selected locations for these markets as well as the safety measures implemented to ensure a secure environment.
