Abolition of Slavery: Wreath Laying by PMSD at Pointe-Canon

At Pointe-Canon in Mahébourg, the leader of PMSD, Xavier-Luc Duval, laid wreaths in honor of the abolition of slavery on Saturday, January 31. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of continually remembering the significant contributions of slaves to the country's development. He also criticized an educational system that he believes excludes the descendants of slaves, while denouncing the emergence of new forms of slavery.
