Drowning of Little Ahaan in Petit-Raffray: Babysitter Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter Released on Bail

Hema Devi Etwareea, 39, the babysitter who was taken into custody following the tragic death of eight-month-old Ahaan Dasootee, which occurred on Saturday in Petit-Raffray, has been provisionally charged with involuntary manslaughter due to negligence at the Bail and Remand Court this Sunday, February 1st. The infant drowned in an inflatable pool at the babysitter's home. Since the police did not contest her release on bail, Hema Devi Etwareea was granted conditional release.
