FCC/ADSU Operation at Barkly Residence: Louis Pascal Ghurboo Arrested

Louis Pascal Ghurboo was arrested by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) on Wednesday, March 11. He is under investigation for suspected money laundering and will spend the night in custody at his luxurious villa in Barkly Residence.

This arrest follows a joint operation by the FCC and the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) of the Western Division, conducted this morning at the Ghurboo family home in Barkly Residence. Assets valued at several million rupees were seized during the operation.

Authorities also confiscated a significant fleet of vehicles, including a tractor, several cars, numerous motorcycles, and an ATV. A sum of cash and jewelry were also taken during this operation.
