Corruption: Subron Highlights Even More Serious Abuses

"If you no longer agree within the Cabinet, you must leave." Ashok Subron took a firmer stance on Saturday in Moka. Speaking to the press, he mentioned potential abuses at the highest levels of government, asserting his readiness to take action.

The leader of Rezistans ek Alternativ claims to have received information about cases of corruption that are "even more serious" than those associated with the alleged "gang of five," which Paul Bérenger frequently mentions. In light of this information, he warns that he will not hesitate to bring the matter to the Cabinet's attention.

Additionally, Ashok Subron stated that he had discussed these concerns with Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam during a meeting last Thursday. He also advocated for a reorientation of the Alliance du Changement towards social, ecological, and solidarity-focused priorities. Defending himself against any power ambitions, he emphasized: "The interests of the people must take precedence over any other considerations."
