On March 26, the United States Embassy in Mauritius gathered dozens of Mauritians who participated in its government exchange programs—academic, professional, or cultural stays in the United States—at the Macarty House in Floréal. This event was part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of American Independence, with a dual purpose: to honor those who have benefited from these exchanges and to highlight the role of these programs in fostering mutual understanding.
