MMM Political Bureau Relocated to Port-Louis This Monday
After several years on Ambrose Street in Rose-Hill, the MMM's political bureau will not convene at its usual location this Monday. The BP members have been summoned to the council chamber of the Port-Louis municipality at 5 PM.
According to information obtained from the party's leadership, this change of venue is due to the unavailability of the usual site, linked to the replacement of a lock, making access impossible.
It remains unclear whether this relocation is temporary or permanent, breaking a long-established tradition within the MMM, where BP meetings are typically held in Rose-Hill. However, party insiders emphasize that this is purely a logistical decision with no political undertones.
This Monday's meeting is expected to follow the usual agenda, including discussions on current political events, party directions, and an analysis of Saturday's gathering led by leader Paul Bérenger.
