Sought by the police, Maulana Azhar Peerbocus is reported to have fled to South Africa. According to sources, this resident of Plaine-Verte left the country on April 1st. The principal of Twaha Academy Boarding School, located in Pont Lardier, is facing complaints lodged by two children regarding cases of abuse. The investigation is being conducted by the Family Protection Brigade of the Eastern Division.
This educational institution in the East accommodates 15 boys from Grade 7 to Grade 11, who are under the care of the suspect, Mohammad Azhar Peerbocus, who serves as Acting Principal.
