ALLEGATIONS OF CHILD ABUSE AT TWAHA ACADEMY: Azhar Peerbocus Allegedly Fled the Country
In search of him by the police, Maulana Azhar Peerbocus is reportedly heading to South Africa. It has come to our attention that he may have left the country since April 1st. The principal of Twaha Academy Boarding School, located in Pont Lardier, is facing complaints lodged by two children regarding cases of abuse. The investigation is being conducted by the Family Protection Brigade of the Eastern Division.
This educational institution in the East accommodates 15 boys from Grade 7 to Grade 11, who are under the care of the suspect Mohammad Azhar Peerbocus, who serves as Acting Principal.
However, at the end of March, the institute was engulfed in serious allegations. Among the whistleblowers is a Grade 9 student who accuses Azhar Peerbocus of inappropriate behavior.
Following these allegations, on Monday, March 30th, Azhar Peerbocus was dismissed from his role with immediate effect. The police investigation is ongoing regarding Mufti Azhar Peerbocus, who is wanted by the Eastern police in connection with these child abuse allegations.
