Incident at Tamarin Beach: Was There a Shark Attack?

The National Coast Guard (NCG) of Rivière-Noire responded yesterday to an incident in the lagoon of Tamarin. A 10-year-old boy was injured under questionable circumstances.

The young boy, a resident of the area, was out at sea with his father when the incident occurred. He sustained a thigh injury and was first taken to a medical center in La Preneuse, before being transferred to a specialized facility in Floréal.
