Energy Crisis: 405 MW Production: The Solar Market Open to Various Sectors

In response to the global energy crisis, the effects of which are being felt locally, authorities are aiming to accelerate the transition to more sustainable energy sources. The Minister of Energy, Patrick Assirvaden, acknowledges the strain this situation places on the country and emphasizes the mobilization of relevant institutions, including his ministry, the Central Electricity Board (CEB), the Energy Efficiency Management Office, and the Mauritius Renewable Energy Agency, to correct the energy trajectory.
