PNQ – Femicide: 7 out of 10 victims were under Protection Orders since January 2025, says Arianne Navarre-Marie

Since January 2025, seven out of the ten women killed were under Protection Orders. This statement was made by Arianne Navarre-Marie in Parliament on Tuesday, April 14. The Minister of Gender Equality and Family Welfare was responding to a Private Notice Question (PNQ) from the opposition leader, Joe Lesjongard, regarding domestic violence.
