Assault in Grand-Gaube: A Man in His Fifties Dies After 20 Days

A resident of St-François in Grand-Gaube has succumbed to severe injuries sustained during a violent assault at his home. The 56-year-old man, who worked as a garbage collector, passed away last night at Sir Anerood Jugnauth Hospital in Constance, where he had been receiving intensive care.

The incident dates back to March 26. According to information gathered by the police, the victim was asleep in his home when a group of five individuals — three men and two women — attacked him.
