Grand-Gaube: Man Dies 20 Days After Being Assaulted

A 56-year-old resident of Grand-Gaube passed away yesterday, April 15, at Sir Anerood Jugnauth Hospital. He had been violently attacked at his home on March 26. According to the police, five individuals reportedly broke into his house and assaulted him while he was sleeping.

Initially, he was admitted to the hospital and later returned home. However, as his condition worsened, he was readmitted to intensive care on April 11. An autopsy is pending, and an investigation is underway to locate the suspects.
